According to the HSB POA website, when Horseshoe Bay was first built, the original hunting lodge and the attractive park area surrounding it was given by the developers to the Horseshoe Bay Property Owners’ Association for the sole use of its members. The Horseshoe Bay Property Owners Association was established in 1970. Known as Quail Point Lodge, this facility houses the POA offices and hosts various activities for and sponsored by Horseshoe Bay Property Owners. In 2011, it was expanded and remodeled, more than doubling its size.
